  • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
  • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
  • Manages client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • BA/BS degree
  • OSHA certification
  • Bilingual – Spanish

Required:

  • 3 + years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
  • 1 + years of workers compensation experience
  • Knowledgeable about risk compliance and labor laws
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Access
  • Experience in fast paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong demonstration of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload and develop an organized plan of processing and follow through
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all people from varies levels within the organization
  • Strong work ethic with commitment to high performance, quality and service excellence
