- Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects.
- Provide functional leadership and creative direction in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of converting equipment and processes to meet asset objectives.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to determine root causes.
- Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets, including control considerations.
- Bring knowledgeable, skillful leadership to the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
- Perform risk assessments, and create/revise and distribute operating instructions and process documentation for team members.
- Carry out all job responsibilities according to company- and industry-specific standards, and develop equipment and processes that meet all safety codes, policies and guidelines.
- Lead safety training sessions, and provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
Job Skills & Qualifications:

- Specific, in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in tissue manufacturing or converting processes
- 6+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments, including maintenance and operations
Required:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Manufacturing
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a manufacturing environment
