What to Include in a Winning Senior Accounting Manager Job Description Template
If a potential candidate isn’t engaged by your job advert, then they may not even read past the first couple of paragraphs, let alone apply for the role. This means that you need to ensure that you grab job seekers’ attention, provide them with plenty of reasons to want to work for your business and show them how they could benefit from taking a senior accounting manager role with you.
The senior accounting manager job description template has plenty of ideas which will help you to write an advert, and there are four distinct components of a winning job description:
Job Summary: This is the first thing that a job seeker will see, so it’s important to ensure that it is clear, concise and candidate focussed. Make sure your job title reflects the position, describe the role in terms of how it fits into the company structure and use action-oriented words.
Duties & Responsibilities: This section should comprise 6-8 bullet points that detail the core tasks that are associated with the role. As you can see from the senior accounting manager job description template, it’s also a good idea to include details of which departments and clients the accounting manager will be working with.
Skills: Include the required qualifications that your accounting manager should have and make a clear distinction between those which are required and those which are just desirable. List the software that candidates will need to use and any personal qualities that you are looking for.
Company Overview: Include anything that will make a candidate want to work for you such as a description of the company ethos and any promotional images or videos. Job seekers will probably look at hundreds of similar job adverts, so this is another chance to make yours stand out.
