Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review US Federal consolidated and separate legal entity pro forma tax returns including quarterly estimates, extensions and amended tax return filings using Tax Systems (i.e. CORPTax, Global Integrator)
  • Assist with annual preparation of state and local income and franchise tax returns and respond to state apportionment questions, as needed
  • Support Tax Accounting COE by conducting monthly and quarterly tax close activities, including preparation of tax provision, reconciliation of tax general ledger accounts and identification of potential FIN48 reserves.
  • Prepare reconciliation of recorded tax provision to filed tax returns (i.e. book to return adjustments)
  • Update processes for legislative developments or negotiated examination agreements
  • Continuously identify enhancements to the income tax filing process as well as opportunities to reduce the US effective tax rate
  • Manage Tax System updates, security and trainings (i.e. CORPTax, CMI fixed assets system)
  • Establish, improve, and execute tax processes and analyses required to meet the team’s objectives.
  • Align course of action and maintain collaborative relationships with the Shared Service Centers and Controller’s Office as well as the Tax Accounting, Tax Consulting, and Tax Defense COEs.
  • Relocation Assistance will be provided.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Experience in State tax, standard finance/tax systems
  • CPA
  • Masters of Tax
  • CORPTax experience

Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Min 5-7 years of Federal tax experience, including tax accounting, in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
